On Friday 23rd February, Miss Eva and Mr Courtin took twelve Year 8 pupils to compete in a language competition at the City of London Freemen’s School. The aim was to perform a short play in French highlighting language barriers when going on holiday.
Aarav, Lev, Jacob, Haran, Reyansh, Samudra, Atharva, Esam, George, Thomas, Tolga and Ashane were the twelve Year 8 students who volunteered to represent Tiffin and, being busy Tiffinians, it has been really difficult to find time for whole-group rehearsals. However, the quality of their performance was outstanding and did not go unnoticed by the young audience and the Freemen’s judges. Tiffin came second in the competition, beating prestigious schools such as Nonsuch, St Catherine’s Bramley and Notre Dame, bringing the runners-up cup back home. Well done Year 8!
