Having the strongest squad for many years meant we could return to the delights of the Harrow on the Hill South East Championships . The juniors put on an incredible performance, coming in 7th place with over 21 teams present; this was a great result for a young team competing against Year 9s.  Adam went well off the start, with Max impressing against the competition placing 12th in the juniors, even though he had a warm-up in the form of a quarterfinal victory in the morning for his club team.  Junior Captain, Struan, a veteran of the team although only in Year 8, lead the team comprising of Arun, Sunny and Rishit, to the strongest team result of the day.

The seniors and inters both looked great, with the top 3 in each section running well.  The best individual result of the day came from Atharv, who took on the best the South East could offer and gained a much deserved bronze podium position against first-rate opposition.  This reinforces his potential for next year’s season where he should continue to challenge for major honours.

We wish Connor and Thomas the best of luck in the English Schools Championships taking place this weekend!
