On Sunday 28th April, the Tiffin Glee Club stepped into the spotlight at the Indigo at The O2 Arena for the Jack Petchey Glee Club Finals. Against fierce competition from talented groups across the country, the Tiffin Glee Club rose to the occasion. With every note sung and every move choreographed, they transported the audience into a world of music and magic.
But the crowning moment came when the organisers of the event, along with the choreographers and mentors who had worked with the group over the past year, awarded the Tiffin Glee Club the Artistic Award. Beyond the performance onstage, the members of the Glee Club gained invaluable experience in the intricacies of professional performances. From interviews to tech runs and mastering the use of microphones, they embraced every aspect of the journey with enthusiasm and determination.
As a celebration of their achievement, the Tiffin Glee Club had the honour of meeting the Kingston Mayor for tea on Tuesday. It was a moment of pride and joy, shared among members who had become a great team. To the members of the Tiffin Glee Club, your achievements are not just measured in awards and accolades but in the memories created and the lessons learned along the way. Best of luck to those now going on to do exams and we look forward to seeing what the Glee Club comes up with next year!
